Everest region is second most popular trekking destination after the Annapurna region in Nepal. The Everest region is located in the north-east of Nepal and most visited part of the country by trekkers and mountaineers. To the north of Solukhumbu is Everest national Park, while to the east is Makalu Barun National Park. This normally can starts walk from Jiri and fly out from Lukla and those who insist their time is limited can fly in and out to Lukla which is served by few airlines with daily flight from Kathmandu.
